Mundomar Cruceros has been selected by the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (CEPYME) as one of the 500 Spanish companies leading in business growth in 2026, thus becoming part of the 10th edition of CEPYME500, an initiative that annually recognizes companies with outstanding evolution and high growth potential.
The CEO of Mundomar Cruceros, Agustín Quesada, collected the accrediting diploma yesterday during the event held at the Palacio de la Bolsa in Madrid, which brought together the companies selected in this edition. The delivery of diplomas was presided over by the president of CEPYME, Ángela de Miguel, and was followed by a gala and a cocktail on the terrace of the Palacio de la Bolsa, under the motto “Companies that grow, companies that inspire.”
The inclusion of Mundomar Cruceros in CEPYME500 represents a recognition of the company's evolution and its growth trajectory within the tourism sector and, in particular, the cruise segment. The CEPYME500 program focuses on companies that stand out for their growth, capacity to generate activity, and development potential, contributing to the dynamism of the Spanish business fabric.
This recognition comes at an especially positive moment for the company. According to data from the CEPYME500 report, Mundomar Cruceros leads growth in the tour operator and travel agency sector, with an increase in its turnover of 176.4% and a return on assets (ROA) of 27.1% in the 4 years analyzed. This position consolidates its role as a benchmark in cruise distribution and responds to a strategy sustained on three pillars: innovation, the use of technology, and internationalization.
In terms of innovation, the company has committed to the development of technological tools that facilitate the daily work of collaborating travel agencies. Among them, its B2B booking engine stands out, which already has more than 40,000 registered travel agents and allows them to check availability and manage bookings in an agile and autonomous way. This use of technology, combined with data analysis to better understand the market and anticipate the needs of agents and passengers, allows Mundomar Cruceros to offer a more agile, efficient, and personalized service, without giving up the close attention that has characterized it since its beginnings.
Internationalization is another of the engines of its growth. With activity in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and South America, Mundomar Cruceros has successfully transferred its business model to different markets, acting as a representative and International Sales Agent for some of the most prestigious cruise lines in the world and reinforcing its position as a bridge between large cruise companies and the network of travel agencies on both sides of the Atlantic.
“We receive this recognition with enormous pride and, above all, with gratitude. It is a recognition of the work and commitment of the entire Mundomar Cruceros team, as well as the trust that our clients, travel agencies, and the shipping companies we work with place in us every day. Our growth is the result of a firm commitment to innovation, to technology put at the service of agencies and passengers, and to an international expansion that has allowed us to take our model to markets such as Portugal, Mexico, and South America. This recognition drives us to continue growing and, especially, to continue offering a differential service and a quality travel experience before, during, and after the cruise,” says Agustín Quesada, General Manager of Mundomar Cruceros.
With this distinction, Mundomar Cruceros becomes part of the CEPYME500 2026 Yearbook, which brings together the 500 companies selected in this edition.
