VIRGIN VOYAGES HELP & SUPPORT

Whether you are looking to find an answer to your question, getting ready to set sail or simply here for that ship knowledge... we got you covered.

What items are prohibited from being brought on board?

On Virgin Voyages creating a safe and secure environment for our Sailors is our top priority. This is a super-long-but-super-important list of items that are a no-go on every Virgin Voyages vessel.  If a sailor is found in possession of such items onboard or during embarkation, The vessel may deny these items from coming onboard, dispose of items or confiscate items until the end of the voyage.
Thank you for helping to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

Can I bring my mobility scooter on board?

Sailors will need to notify our Sailor Services Crew at the time of booking that they’ll be bringing their mobility scooters on board and will need to book an accessible cabin. Please note that scooters must be stored in the cabin when not in use.

Are passports and visas required to sail?

While our Sailors are free to voyage at will, some global rules for travel still apply. Our voyages require our Sailors to have a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months after the voyage end date. Based on your country of citizenship, some ports may also require a necessary visa to enter.

May I transfer my voyage to my travel agent?

Please refer to our Voyage Well page for our most up-to-date health and safety updates.

What is included in my voyage?

Staying hydrated is a must for well-being at sea (and we prefer our Sailors feel their best), so enjoy any essential drinks on us including water (still and sparkling, of course), non-pressed juice, soda, sachet tea and drip coffee if you need a boost. Since WiFi is as essential as water to us, count that in, too. Entertainment experiences, also included. Plus, we'll cover restaurant dining, tips and group fitness classes, too!

How much money do I have to pay at the time of booking?

More than 120 days prior to your departure date, you'll need to pay a 20% deposit to secure your booking (but don't forget, you can also hold a booking for 24 hours without any money down up until 45 days). After that, the full voyage fare is due at the time of booking. If you need to change your travel plans after this, you still have plenty of options for how you can use this credit. Just take a look at our cancellation policy or give our Sailor Services Crew or your travel agent a shout for more details.

What is Virgin Voyages' cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy was created to provide a better experience for our Sailors. Here's everything you need to know:

If you’re booking more than 120 days prior to the start of the voyage, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.

After the 7-day grace period (but still before the 120-day window), you can receive a full refund on any payments, excluding your deposit. For your deposit, you will receive Future Voyage Credit at this time.

Between 119 and 45 days, any funds paid will be converted to Future Voyage Credit (FVC), good to use on any voyage 1 year from the original voyage start date. Sweet deal, huh?

Once you’re within 44 days of your voyage, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to send someone else in your place up to 48 hours before your voyage if you really can't sail. Please note that taxes and fees will be refunded regardless of when the booking is canceled.

Have more questions? No worries. Our Sailor Services Crew or your travel agent can help walk you through the process. As always, we recommend you purchase our Voyage Protection.
